Meet Pathways

A clearer next step for each learner.

Connect homeschool assessments, everyday learning, and your own observations. Pathways helps you understand where to begin and choose what to explore next.

Your knowledge of your child comes first

A starting point, with room to grow.

A child may be ready for a new challenge in one subject and need more practice in another. Pathways keeps those differences visible, alongside the evidence behind each suggestion.

How Pathways works

From what you notice to what you try next.

  1. 01

    Start with what you know

Bring together learning records, parent observations, and assessment reports. Review suggested evidence before it becomes part of your learner’s profile.

  2. 02

    Explore a starting point

Use guided assessments to explore skills and the support a learner needs. A starting point can differ by subject, and limited evidence stays visible.

  3. 03

    Choose what comes next

Turn that context into weekly activities. In the learning-plan preview, choose subjects, pace, and lesson formats, then review a proposed course before accepting it.

  4. 04

    Learn, reflect, and adjust

Keep completed work in the learning record. Add your observations about challenge, independence, and support to help inform the next steps.

Learning-plan preview

Bring a course of learning into focus.

Review a proposed roadmap, see the week ahead, and open prepared lessons as you go. Learning plans connect to the same records you already keep.

For households with learning plans enabled, Pathways opens on the learning plan; observed evidence remains available under Progress.

A plan you can review

Choose subjects and priorities, set your available time, and review the proposed course before it becomes your learner’s plan.

Materials for the way you learn

Explore parent-led lessons, printable work, independent activities, hands-on projects, discussions, and concept guides. Student material and parent guidance stay separate.

Continuity from lesson to record

Start and complete lessons in the learning workflow, add feedback, and revisit progress. Review significant proposed changes while preserving your edits and completed work.

Questions about Pathways

Do we need an assessment to get started?
You can begin with parent observations and a starting-point estimate. Assessments and existing reports can add context over time. Where evidence is limited, a suggested starting point remains uncertain.
Are Pathways levels the same as school grades?
No. Pathways uses subject-specific skill starting points to guide planning. These are not standardized test scores, diagnoses, or a ranking of children. Completing an activity does not by itself prove mastery.
Does Pathways use AI?
Yes. AI helps interpret submitted learning evidence and prepare assessments, activity suggestions, and learning-plan materials. Suggestions can be wrong; parents review evidence and outcomes and should check lesson content before using it. Read the privacy notice for how submitted information is handled.
Can I keep using our own curriculum?
Yes. Planning and record keeping work on their own. Pathways adds context and suggestions, while your books, projects, outside classes, and informal learning can remain part of the same household history.
